If the New Year party is one evening of your Istanbul trip, choose your hotel for the rest of the visit too. Sultanahmet and Sirkeci put you in the Old City. Taksim and the Galata side of Beyoğlu offer a different base for walking, restaurants and evenings out. Staying on the Asian side can suit your wider plans, but hotel pickup for our party is not available there.
Before committing to a hotel because it looks close to the water, send us its full address. Our departure point is in Fatih, and a waterfront address elsewhere does not necessarily make the journey simpler.
Sultanahmet and Sirkeci: an Old City base
Choose an Old City hotel if the historic part of Istanbul is where you want to spend much of your daytime visit. Look at the hotel’s position on a map and the actual entrance, not only the neighborhood label in a booking listing.
Small streets and pedestrian access matter for the party transfer. If our vehicle cannot reach your hotel entrance, we can arrange a nearby hotel as the meeting point or give you direct joining instructions. A charming small lane can be a good place to stay, but you should know where to meet the vehicle before the evening.
Sirkeci and Sultanahmet appear on the official T1 tram line. That can help you compare daytime sightseeing connections. The line map does not confirm a New Year’s Eve overnight journey, a hotel pickup time or the route to our boarding point.
Taksim, Galata and Karaköy: compare the street as well as the district
These areas can work well if you want to spend your time around Beyoğlu and the waterfront below it. They are not interchangeable addresses. Consider the walk between your hotel, the places you want to visit and the transport stops you expect to use.
The official M2 metro line includes Taksim and Şişhane. Karaköy is on the T1 tram route. Use the operator’s maps to understand the city, then check the hotel’s own address and access.
For our party, central pickup still needs an address check. The exact time depends on the hotel and collection route, and is emailed one day before the event.
Should I stay on the Asian side for this trip?
You can stay on the Asian side and attend the party, but you will need to organize your own journey to the boat and back afterward. Our hotel transfer does not collect from Kadıköy, Üsküdar or other Asian-side addresses.
That is a planning decision rather than a reason to change a hotel you otherwise like. Look at your whole stay, then decide whether an independent journey on party night suits you. Use the exact departure pin in Fatih when planning, rather than the location of a different dinner-cruise operator.
Check transport information again close to the date. Use the transport operator’s latest holiday service updates for your own journey. In particular, plan how you will get back after the party, not only how you will reach the boat.
What about Beşiktaş, Ortaköy or a hotel near the airport?
For Beşiktaş, send the full address before you book: collection is available only in limited areas. Do not assume a hotel is covered because it is on the European side.
There is no hotel pickup from Ortaköy or airport-area hotels. If those locations suit the rest of your trip, you can join at the boat independently. Allow for both journeys in your plans and follow the boarding instructions sent with your ticket.
Being near an airport can be useful for a flight, but it should not be treated as a central pickup address for the party. The same applies to accommodation outside the city center.
Five checks before choosing a hotel
A few address checks can prevent an awkward change of plan after you have booked both the room and the party.
- Get the full address. Copy the hotel name and street address from the property’s own listing or confirmation.
- Look at the entrance. Check whether it is on a pedestrian lane or a street a passenger vehicle can reach.
- Ask about party pickup. Send the address to our team; an area selection alone is not a transfer confirmation.
- Understand the return point. An agreed nearby meeting hotel is also the return point when your own entrance cannot be reached.
- Keep the address consistent. If you change hotels, tell us promptly so your joining arrangement can be checked again.
How do the party ticket and pickup email fit into hotel planning?
Your PDF party ticket explains your joining arrangement. The exact hotel pickup time is then emailed one day before the party. This lets you choose a hotel before the final collection route is scheduled, while still knowing whether pickup or independent travel is the right plan for the address.
For an included hotel transfer, the driver has the lead guest’s name. At the end of the evening, drivers meet their guests outside the boat and guide them to the return vehicles. You return to the hotel or meeting hotel where you were collected.
